Renaming Diablo 2 classes

This is mostly just a thought exercise, but it's an idea that has definitely ingrained itself into my head.

The idea is that Diablo 2 might get a sort of remake via a Torchlight 2 mod or something.  Even if it never gets to that point (and I don't think Runic would let a blatant knock-off happen given how Blizzard might react), what would you rename the classes so that they still convey everything about their class, but have a different name?  Preferably something gender-neutral or maybe with variants depending on gender.  Amazon is a funky one after all.

Assassin: Shadow
Barbarian: Berserker/Tempest
Sorceress: Enchanter/wizard/mage... There are alot of alternatives here
Paladin: Knight
Amazon: Ranger
Necromancer: Witch
Druid: ??

Many of these names are shamelessly stolen from Path of Exile. (A very good alternative to diablo II in my opinion, for those who don't like World of Diablo.)
I'm not entirely happy with the necromancer one. The only reason I didn't leave it blank was the witch in PoE has a somewhat similar feel.

The Necromancer could become Warlock.
For druid, there's not really any other word that as easily conveys all the aspects of nature that are present in him. Naturalist or Shifter, perhaps.

I'm not sure that there's any point in changing the names, though. They're quite generic, so I don't think Blizzard would be able to do anything against anyone on that specific point.

My computer can't handle PoE, otherwise I'd be playing it.  If a gothic mod for Torchlight 2 comes out I'll be playing that though.

Here were my thoughts on the classes before posting this thread:

Necromancer    > Graverobber? Dread Warlock?
Sorceress    > Elementalist
Barbarian    > Berserker?
Paladin    > Champion
Amazon       > ?
Assassin    > Stalker
Druid       > Nature's Warden

I thought of Ranger for Amazon too, but then I looked at it and thought "Yeah, it has the archery, but how many rangers go with spears and javelins? It doesn't really fit the name most associate with it."
