4E. Firing into melee
« on: March 23, 2013, 05:19:13 PM »
Really a pretty easy one. Does firing into melee in 4e impose to hit penalties?

My newby DM couldn't find it. Neither could this newbie player. We settled on -2 under protest and I ended up taking Hunters Aim t get around that. It still rankled though.

I'd lik to know in case we revisit our one- of 4E PCs.

No, actually, they did away with that penalty for 4e, to make life for ranged characters easier, and since so many spells are now ranged attacks of a sort.
