A generic human commoner.
« on: May 09, 2013, 07:18:56 PM »
I wrote this up a while ago, and I think it serves as a nice little "why not" thing to have. You can pretty much use this for any commoner in your games if you need a quick stat block; really, she's just here to be splatted.

Jane Goodwife
F TN Human Commoner, Level 1, Init +0, HP  2/2 ,  Speed 30'
AC 10, Touch 10, Flat-footed 10, Fort +0, Ref +0, Will +0, Base Attack Bonus +0
Club +0 (1d6, x2)
Feats: Awareness, Skill Focus (Profession (Housewife))
Abilities: Str 10, Dex 10, Con 10, Int 10, Wis 10, Cha 10
Condition: None

3 of the stats should be 11s (to no other real effect).

Her twin sister has 3 hit points.

The community she lives in, is more often than not
Lawful something.  Whether that rubs off on her or
not, she should know a smidge of the lingo.

She has 900 gp net worth --- for lack of a better term.
She carries any result of 1st level treasures on her,
including none.  Perhaps this is determined randomly.
20 gp magic trinket value maximum, doesn't get much.
Very limited choice, and not on her that often.

It's statistically improbable that she has not been Dipromanced
:eh :love :flutter ...  :tongue might require a knowledge check.
(except that Hypnosis would be necessary for Fanatic / not available in all communities)
She hires a trained hireling at 3sp, for things she can't do herself.
She can't afford that all that often.

Feats yeah yeah sure, but technically she needs training.
So normally the feats available are limited to her elders.
Same thing with skills.  Drat that backstory requirement.
