Greetings all,
I'm attempting to create a new racial trait that revolves around magically manipulating plant life within a certain biome. All critiques and suggestions are welcome.
Shape Plant-life (4 RP) Prerequisite: None; Benefit: Members of this race can manipulate plant-life within the biome (marsh, forest, plains, etc.) they were born in. As a full-round action, members of this race can form 1 cubic foot of wood into any shape that suits their purpose with a touch. They can also form 10 cubic foot plus 1 cubic foot per hit dice of non-wooden plant matter (vines, leaves, bushes, etc) in a similar fashion at close range. This effect does not separate any amount of living material from the whole, simply moves it into the desired shape if enough material is present.
While it is possible to make crude coffers, doors, bridges and so forth, fine detail isn’t possible. Any shape that includes moving parts simply doesn’t work.
Maintaining this effect requires a DC 15 (+1 per round used) Spellcraft check as a move action. Once the effect ends, or you cease concentrating, you must activate this ability again as a full-round action.
The is a supernatural (Su) effect.
