Good template for a crafter?

Dragonborn Primordial Half-Giant – Good mouthful and we haven’t gotten to the favored classes. Breath weapon, invisibility, and martial weapons which aren’t huge for an artificer. LA+1

I like Eneko better, but it's really just personal preference.

It's probably half-giant to avoid the Cha loss.

Radiant Creature looks nice, except for the Rainbow Aura blinding comrades as well.

Well, it dazzles them, it doesn't blind them, but I hadn't thought about it affecting allies.  I'd imagine your fellow players would be annoyed at you for inflicting a penalty on them, even if it is only -1.  I think the best solution would be to pay for a casting of ability rip (Serpent Kingdoms, p155) to permanently remove rainbow aura. 

Maat, have you ever posted about that template in the Fun Finds threads?

I have not.  I think I will though.  Thanks for the suggestion.

Either that or give each party member some nonmagical eyewear that negates the penalty.

Use lesser half-giant for no LA.
