I remember that thread.

It eventually boiled down to a discussion of different types of mathematical notations, because it got to the point where none of the "normal" were concise enough (i.e., they had to spend several posts. For just the 0s. For scientific notation.)
"There is happiness for those who accept their fate, there is glory for those that defy it."

"Now that everyone's so happy, this is probably a good time to tell you I ate your parents."

IT MUST BE SAVED!

Come on, that is the equivalent of asking an archeologist "so, do you want to pitch these priceless artifacts? They just look like pots to me."

I saw the original thread for this. They had a (representing a massive number) to the power a, which was itself to the power of a, which was in turn itself to the power of a, etc... and I think close to 2 posts of a^a^a^a... were taken up.
Do you know how long someone who is as sarcastic as I am would last in prison? Suuuuuuch a long time.

Do you have any suggestions for other important things to port? I'd hate for hard work to be lost (I actually made a thread just for having people suggest things for me to port. It died after a few pages though).

OP has the first build, and the better build.
But yeah that's the thread ... surprised it survived.

Can one of the High Maths guys around here explain
wtf in (very) laymans terms Knuth's Up Arrow notation is ?!

An example: 3^^3 = 3^(3^3), or 3^27. 3^^4 is 3^(3^(3^3)). I think.
