Ah, of course.  Flawless logic.  Let's use the rules for tower shields and incorporeality in order to adjudicate how the Iot7V's class abilities work.

Veils: When an initiate creates a warding, she can choose
and imbue the warding with any one veil she knows how to
create. These veils duplicate the layers of a prismatic wall and
are described below. An initiate’s caster level for these veils
is equal to her arcane spellcaster level.

You get the effect that the prismatic wall produces. If something diverges in the iot7v text, you get prismatic wall effect and whatever iot7v provides, unless a specific exemption is listed. Red and orange don't list what they don't do to arrows, so they do... do what they do.

Anyways, you're seriously overthinking things. Stop by a convenience store and buy some banana red mad dog 20/20 for your next dnd session. If that doesn't work hit up the liquor store and don't leave without something orange. Self medicate, and the problem will solve itself.

I believe i pointed out that i was simply attempting to determine what a "magical attack" is, as, AFAIK, there is no definite RAW definition of it. If you read my post carefully, you'll notice i didn't post a conclusion.

Spacemonkey, and (i think) Kethrian, got it right some posts back. Using the wording from the "Prismatic Wall" spell seems the way to go.
