I didn't mean it's irrelevant to regular life, just that it's more useful when comparing to D&D. And trust me, I'm one of the first people in line to change the US over to metric. Well, except the temperature scale. Because honestly, I feel that F is better than C for everyday uses. Especially in most latitudes that are populated, where most temperatures experienced are between 0 and 100 F. And the scale is more open so that 75 is different about as significantly number-wise and how-hot-it-feel-wise from 80. Pretty handy that....
Or we could just start using ballsius.
