Hey everyone, I'm new. I just stumbled on this site, and am looking forward to reading all the optimization posts that are available. Typically, I'm not a min/maxer or even an optimizer, I like to make characters who are different from others, even if it means they aren't optimized. My wife does this too, and she's very new to RPGs in general.
Her favorite all-time character is actually a Dwarven Bard, who inherited the Were-Bear template. This character is completely not optimized since her race and template both have a Cha penalty. But that didn't stop her from having a blast with the character
I'm going to be playing as Strix Wizard in an upcoming campaign with the Void specialty school and Earth opposition school. He's going to be focused on crafting magic items for the party, and I'm really looking forward to playing him
