Advice for a Solo, Level 6 FR Character

GF read an adventure she likes so... Help!

Starting level 6. Heading out, solo, for an adventure that is intended for four 4th level characters.

Sourcebooks allowed:

• Core: PHB, MM, DMG
• FR: Player's Guide to Faerun, Underdark, Champions, and... some other books. Most of the 3.5 I think... and I don't think she has any of the 3.0 ones available

So, what might be my best course of action to see level 7? Thanks in advance!

A couple pointers:

Leadership;
Druids are almighty at level 6 already with Core only (Wild Shape, Natural Spell, although Leadership might be better).

And Greenbound Summoning is from FR, you should get it.

Get a flying animal companion to use as a mount to avoid most enemies while summoning greenbound stuff.

You might want to upgrade to a giant crocodile at 7th.

I'd try it with a Fighter, but hey, that's me. How hard will the game be? Is it a canned adventure? If so, those are usually pretty easy. Incanofwhoopasstrix is from FR if you want to try a Wizard. The easiest method has already been voiced. Greenbound is so stupid and was meant to be a +2 metamagic, but them's the rules! (Oh and I recognize incaseofthematrix is just as broken.. ok, more so!)

Alright, so I'm looking at a.. ghostwise or strongheart halfling with...

• Level 1: Greenbound Summoning
• Level 3: ???
• Level 6: Leadership... what's a good cohort? Wizard? Something monstrous?

Equipment: Recommendations for 13,000 gp?

Strongheart gets a bonus feat, IIRC. You could get Spell Focus Conjuration and Augment Summoning to have even stronger summons.

As for items, get stuff that you can take off, wild shape, and have your animal companion or cohort put back on you. Natural spell still might be better than Leadership

Yeah, I'd probably skip Leadership myself. Your summoned critters will be stronger than your cohort.

I like forest gnome for race, as they are very sneaky. They're in the MM1 (and SRD).

Using the PHB2 retraining rules you can retrain an earlier feat in order to take both Leadership and Natural Spell at level 6. The forest gnome gets a huge boost to hide in wooded areas. However, if wildshaping negates that (I know nothing of Wild Shape) then maybe you shouldn't bank on it. For gold, go to google and search for the Druid Handbook. You will probably spend it quick fast and in a hurry. There are a handful of essential druid items that will likely reach your limit.
