Wyvern Egg (Possible Animal Companion?)
« on: February 23, 2014, 10:13:27 AM »
Hello Guys,

I am a level 4 Druid and I have recently taken in an Axebeak as an animal companion in our Pathfinder game. However, I have found a basalisk egg as well as a Wyvern egg and I am incubating them both. Is it possible for a druid to raise a wyvern as an animal companion, in pathfinder? If so, would I have to be a certain level? I have read that at level 7 I can take the leadership feat and at 10 I could have a wyvern as a cohort. And I imagine it would take about that long to level to that point for the wyvern to hatch and grow to a reasonable size for combat.

Since the wyvern is probably of a diminutive size, could I make a scaled wyvern and use it as a familiar, do you think?

You might wanna be careful with the Basilisk egg.
1) ... cast Speak To Animal
2) ... baby Bas break it's egg
3) ... <"Welcome to the world.">
4) ... <"Mommy?">
5) ... dm says you're paralyzed

Wyvern feels a little Supermount-ish to me.
idk someone around here will know when a Wyvern can be OK.
