If your only using Ardent for Dimension Hop then why not instead take Mantled Erudite (Freedom) instead? For slightly more cheeze drop your psi crystal for the mantle and use your bonus feat to get Psionic Talent. In the end you have bonus PP based off your Int, +2 power points and all this costs you is 1 average HP, 0.25 BAB and some mantle you probably were not going to use.

Where are people getting the 2d6 SA for the Shadowlord? One level of swordsage cannot get you the sneak attack stance, even if you ignore the "only level 1 stances at 1st level" thing you would need to be level 9 to meet the Initiator Level requirements.

I was unaware of mantled erudite.  Does it still get D-hop with the special option from the mantle?

Thus the "not in this order" thing.  Martial Stance feat.

It's in this article but yes you do get the whole mantle.

As for other feats you could use maybe bonus essientia to get more distance with your blink shirt, maybe one of the other incarnum feats. To be honest I am not 100% sure on the more specific details of Incarnum.

I looked at them, almost the entire book of Incarnum requires at least a CON of 13, and when you are a Necropolitan, that doesn't work out so well. ;)

Undead Meldshaper feat changes the requirement to CHA.  It's actually quite useful if your DM lets you do the "I'm a necopolitan made by a dread necromancer with the corpsecrafter feat' trick.  between that and Vitality belt, you end up with a stupid huge pool of HP, making all the other undead (the ones who don't have unholy toughness anyway) totally jealous

Hmmm good point, what is most frustrating is that since I don't know much about Incarnum either, it looks like this feat is basically a requirement for me to have...it also looks like it changes it to Wisdom, actually, unless I'm looking at something incorrectly. It doesn't appear to open up any of the feats, either...again, I might be reading this incorrectly.

Looking over the feat there is a couple of things, I think you may need this if your undead othrwise you cannot use soulmelds and it changes it to wisdom rather than Charisma.

[edit]
Stupid lag, you ninja'd me. But yes the feat does not allow you to take the others. I would ask your GM it really should allow you to.
