By multiclassing in things that don't progress your spellcasting, you're sacrificing a lot. I'd make sure it's worth it (most would probably say it isn't, but if you think it is, that's what matters).

Here's what i ended up with:

Cleric 1, Duskblade 5

Human St 14, Dx12 CN 16 IQ 16 WS 12 CH 10

Converted Cleric Domains to Knowledge Devotion and Protection Devotion

Feats:
Fleet of Foot, Combat Expertise
Obtain Familiar
Bonded Familiar
