« on: December 10, 2014, 07:37:25 PM »
Hi my name is Lancelot, ive been playing D&D for 0days  ive just got the starter box 5e and downloaded the players handbook for 5e im looking to play with friends as we wanted a fun game to play instead of hero quest for the 1000000000000th time.  Im from the UK  near Manchester and will be joining a 5e campaign at the start of the new year aswell. Im the type of player thats want to mess with other people  like steal some of the loot without them knowing or wipe the part if i want to so the type of guy that you dont really want to play with :cool but i also want to play the game for real some campaigns and so would want the strongest character possible i think its called mini maxing in D&D thats a quick intro and that why im here to find the most broken builds and also the builds which can mess with people and ill also hopefully learn alot as i make this place my home

Welcome to the community.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to make strong characters. Most people misunderstand the meaning of the term Min/Max because a lot of players who want to cause grief Min/Max their characters as a method of being a jerkass. If you want to make ridiculously powerful characters just to mess with people and be a dick, you probably won't like this community. That's called 'Being a Munchkin' and it is an entirely different thing from Min/Maxing. You can read The Gentleman's Agreement in my signature for a better idea how to handle Min/Maxing in a party.

Pen and Paper Roleplaying Games are a collaborative effort where everyone comes together to have fun and put in effort together to tell a story. If someone joins just to cause trouble they're probably going to be kicked out fairly quickly and gain a reputation as someone not to play with.
