Range: Personal into at least Range: Touch spells - Any problems with that HR?

If I would houserule Personal spells to be AT LEAST Touch, would that be acceptable or would there be some problems? IMO it doesn't break the game, helps mundanes and the Personal restriction on some spells is just silly.

Well, that spreads the overpowered stuff around, but it helps with party balance. So its good I guess. Also diminishes the relative value of special companions like familiars slightly.

Well, it makes Persistent spell a lot less useful unless you say that Touch range spells can be persisted, which actually increase it very much.

Easiest way is just to give the spells optional ranges:
Personal or Touch
Personal or Short range
etc.

Don't forget to also say whether they have saves or spell resistance and if those are harmless, or needing a willing target. You'll be able to do stuff like transforming peoples' arms into fire, and despite how cool this is, people who use spells with material components or like to enchant their bracers might object.
