I'm an avid gamer (RPG, CCG, BG) who has, due to RL circumstances, been away from RPGs for too long. Recent years have only allowed for weekend CCG & BG nights, but no ongoing RP sessions. Luckily some of my friends are finally fed up with their computer game addictions, and want to jump back into RPGs again - finally!
I've played many older RPGs/systems, but very few modern RPGs...which brings me here in an attempt to catch up with the more recent rulesets and research some optimizations, before diving in head-first to my first DnD campaign in ~8 years. My DnD experiences = Basic D&D (2e & 3e) and AD&D (1e & 2e); the campaign that I've committed to joining is D&D 3.5e (Core Only - per our GM).
