Binders are not the only ones to employ the power of vestiges. Some do so unwillingly, having a vestige or vestiges rooted too deeply in their soul to remove. The esoteric nature of their powers make them hard to recognise, and among the common folk these people are known simply as the Accursed.
The origins of the Accursed are unknown, with some believing that they are descended from powerful binders, and others believing that they are somehow related to vestige monsters; these theories are not mutually exclusive.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Accursed gain no proficiency with any weapon or armor.
Vestige Within (Su): The accursed's soul has been claimed by a particular vestige, allowing him to draw on its power in a manner similar to a binder. He is considered bound to this vestige at all times, though he must still make binding checks every 24 hours to determine if it is a good or bad pact. If he expels the vestige (eg. with the Expel Vestige feat) he may bind it again at any time as a free action. The accursed's effective binder level is equal to his class level plus half his levels in other classes. Prestige classes which advance soul binding can be used to advance his effective binder level for this ability instead.
As the accursed gains levels, more voices echo within his soul. At every odd class level, he gains an additional vestige to which he can bind. He may switch between his vestiges as a standard action. In addition, he may change any of his Vestiges Within whenever he gains a character level.
Ignore Special Requirements: At 2nd level, an accursed gains Ignore Special Requirements as a bonus feat.
Form of Legion (Su): Once per day, an accursed of 4th level or higher can temporarily bind himself to all of his vestiges at the same time (requiring the same action as switching between his vestiges). This lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + his Charisma modifier, after which he becomes fatigued for 1 minute. While using this ability he cannot suppress the sign or influence of any of his vestiges.
Rapid Shift: At 6th level an accursed can switch between his vestiges as a move action, improving to a swift action at 8th level and an immediate action at 10th level.
