Of course...

...Everyone else has Minor Globe of Invulnerability up.

Why am I here? Well, one of my first wizards found it more economical to Haste the fighters than cast Fireball, and I haven't improved much (in ability to optimize) since.

So, I'm here to learn to optimize. And maybe post some semi-incoherent house rules. And read yours. And chew bubble gum. But I haven't actually chewed any bubble gum in years.

...I should buy some bubble gum.

Favourite games:
D&D:
3.5e, because it's very evocative. Very unbalanced, too. Even I can tell that.
4e, because it's a good skirmish minigame with RP options.
5e bores me.
Pathfinder does not, in fact, balance 3.5e, therefore I don't use it, except to mine for ideas.
D20 Modern is most of a good system, but could use better editing.
Other:
GURPS and Hero System (in alphabetical order) are both pretty good generic games, but if I had to choose on playability, GURPS takes a lot less work to get started.
Mutants and Masterminds is like GURPS System, only not as good as either.
At some point, it could be fun to play Call of Catthulhu. Yes, you read that right.
Fate looks interesting, in a pulpish, "Heroes always win, although sometimes with other consequences" sort of way.
Traveller character gen. Yes, it's a game. I'd like to play the sequel some time.
I don't see the appeal of D6. It's too simple for me.
Dungeons the Dragoning is made of FIRE and METAL and will tear your puny RPG to burning shreds! Note: It's a parody game played straight.
EABA is like a less-detailed, less-flexible GURPS.
I couldn't get into Savage Worlds.
The Secret of Zir'An is an underappreciated classic that didn't get the love or the editing it deserved. Or the usable print copies.
Tri-Stat dX is like a less flexible Hero System.
Truth And Justice may be rules-light, but it has a certain zaniness that may work.
And, of course, my own RPG, which will indubitably take the RPG world by storm, earning me billions of dollars and fans worldwide. Note: Sentence is not serious. At all. I'll be happy if it meets its art expenses.
