Sorry if this isn't the right area to post this please let me know so I can move it.
So I recently found a new group to play with that is playing pathfinder. I've got quite a bit of 3.5 experience under my belt but not much pathfinder. There is no 3.5 compatibility, pretty sure no 3rd party sources are allowed at least without approval first, we are playing carrion crown campaign, we just gained mythic tier 1, and my character level is 10. I've gone Human with Arcane bloodline, first three levels favored class were taken as HP and everything else has been an extra spell known.
I want my
character to be focused around battlefield control / prevent enemies to do things. The group already has a couple people who can dish out 200+ damage during their attack so a blaster caster seems pretty meh honestly.
Now my focus for this build was to basically use Dazing Spell metamagic feat, jack up my save DCs and give enemies the dazed condition so my team mates can abuse them. The problem I've run into is that since this is an undead heavy campaign the GM has been saying that since undead are immune to stun then they are immune to dazed as well. Everything I've read says that isn't the case, as those are two totally separate conditions. I think I can sit down with the GM and discuss this further to clarify. If however that doesn't workout and he rules that way anyways, what other kind of things can I do to fit that roll? Undead are Immune to most everything that you would normally throw at something, stat drain, fatigue, stunned, etc, etc.
Secondly we unlocked the first Mythic tier and I'm trying to plan out what I would like to do. So far I've got
this planned out. Pretty sure I'm going to want to take at least one or two of the feats that give mythic spells. As for the abilities, I've got a free slot on 10th open right now and am still debating on dropping legendary item for more arcane metamastery. Longevity and Eldritch flight are more flavor options for my character since he is slightly obsessed with exploring the secrets of the arcane in the hopes to basically become as powerful as a god. Not dying to old age and naturally being able to fly seem to fit well with that.
Any advice is welcome and very appreciated. If you need any additional info please let me know.
