Qualifying for Master of the North Wind
« on: December 07, 2011, 06:26:53 PM »
Master of the North Wind requires Ki Strike(magic). The only way I know of to qualify for that is Monk4. Is there any faster way?

Gauntlets of the talon (Magic Item Compendium) give you +5 monk levels for several things, including ki strike, if you worship bahamut and sacrifice a 3rd-level divine spell slot.  They cost 4,000 gp, so you should be able to fit them in by 7th-level, when you can first qualify for master of the north wind.

This is for an epic campaign, so I'd be fine with qualifying at pretty much any ECL. I'm looking to have more levels of druid (or divine prc) and fewer of monk. monk4 is kind of pointless.
