What will happen?

What will happen if a Dvati (Dragon Magazine Compendium) is transformed by a Kaorti (Fiend Folio)?
1. Both twins will merge together
2. Both will turn into two Kaorti
2a. Will still keep the Twins and Pair Link
2b. Separate Kaortis

I don't know what you mean, by 2a but the answer is: 1 becomes a Kaorti and the other one doesn't (unless it receives a bite). This is the same thing as all those other become-the-same-monster-after-infection abilities.

Ok so 1 turn but the other stays the same. But do you control both of them and can they still use their Twins racial ability?
If both are turned, can they still telepathically communicate?

Assuming its a PC template (like Kaorti), you still play both. Why would they lose the ability to communicate?
