I'm curious ... 

So let's say it's E6 limited, but with ~reasonable T.O.
Say like PHB2 Rebuilding would need to be justified,
but would open up usually 6 levels of various PrCs.

Not sure where/when to cap monsters, say CR 6 maximum
but with whatever shenanigans you can pull of with those.
That might  shut off our favorite reptilian-isms.

Presumeably we can get up to and pass Limited Wish At-will.

It depends whether higher level spells still exist or not, because there are various ways to get them before 6th level.  If you wanted a significant difference there, I'd do something like:

Exiled Spells:
A spell is exiled if it's 4th level or above on all lists it appears, or if it's 4th level or above on the Cleric, Druid, and Wizard lists.
Exiled spells have their body text replaced with: "This spell does nothing."

So you can go ahead and snag a Wish through various means, but casting it will have no effect.  The odd criteria are to deal with things like Runescarred Berserker.

Presumably there are no Wish (+ loops) happening.
I don't know what sort of solid T.O. stacking limits there ought to be,
but I'm thinking in terms of the spirit of E6 + smidge of t.o.

If 3rd level spells is a hard cap, this game is rather mute.

With r.a.i. PHB2 Rebuilding in play, I get these in a hurry :
Blighter 6s
x1 / UrPriest 5s
Duergar Ardent 6s in 2 disciplines only
Beholder Mage 6s (there's a racial emulation trick)
Arty 4s , and Psi Arty 4s

That's quite enough to do something .


My big gun for ability acquisition is the Reason Stealer.
Eat a thing, get it's goodies for 24 hours, Revivify it, to do it again.

Runescarred ... I wanna see how the +7 BAB
happens in a 6 level build, first and then the
justified Rebuilding maintaining that +7 BAB.

Still it would get those juicy earlier spell level things.
Worth it, though quite a challenge.

Wasn't thinking about actually being a Runescarred Berserker, but rather an Artificer/Archivist snagging, say, Divine Power as a 3rd level spell.  Not that that particular example would really change things, but I figure if you're going to explore what's possible in E6 you might as well go whole-hog and not leave a bunch of loopholes.

Getting from point A to point D, is a problem on the Runescarred side (let's say point C).
Sure an Arty can learn any 3rd level spell (point B) ... but ... that spell would have to exist first ;
which means a Runescarred 5 would have to exist somehow .
It isn't readily apparent how e6+rebuilding, can do that (I'm not saying it can't, this IS the t.o. board).

I mean, something like Arty 4 / Uncanny Trickster 2 with 2 major bloodline levels,
yeah I can see that happening with easy rebuilding.  That gets into the 6s right?


edit --- most any Trapfinder 1 / Trapsmith 5 via normal aggressive rebuilding = yes.
