I would like to build a Chain Dancer Class.
I can only use the SRD.
My idea is that there is a Demigod (maybe higher) whose portfolio is roads/ travelers/safe passage. His (agents?) are a mix of Bard/Cleric who travel the roads, helping those in need. They would also maintain Toll Bridges and Major Routes between large cities.
Weapon would of course be the Spiked Chain and instead of the summoning that is normal for a Cleric, I would like to see a Spell/Chant/Performance that summoned other Chain Dancer when needed.
Skills/Spells Lists, etc. would be those that aided people and were useful for defense of, repair of, and building of said roads, bridges, way-houses, etc.
EDIT: add spontaneous casting!
I tried google fu (and a search here) for a chain dancer a come up with nada (I did find the Dancer class @ dndwiki)
All thoughts, questions and comments will be appreciated.
(or am I completely nuts)
