Sea Speed[/b]
Some Hippocampus have the ability to turn their
Prerequisite: Hippocampus Body class feature.
Benefit: When going into dry land from a large body of water, the Hippocampus can move at such speed that some of the water trails behind, allowing it to keep using its Swim speed and have no breathing problems as long as it keeps moving at least 5 feet every turn. It can keep this going for a number of hours equal to HD+Con mod. If stopped, it can still crawl on land at a base speed of 10 feet.
Working on that waiting list, one monster at a time.
The Hippocampus is short and simple. Two levels, growth, some incentive for being used as a steed (or getting a rider of their own), feat to work on land, done.
Trivia, but it always amuses me that real-world Hippocampus are actually competing for the spot of slowest creatures of the sea. Even snails are rocket racers compared to them.
So if you want to play a big sea horse, the Hippocampus for you!
