Hey all!
This is my first post, but I've been trying to create a web-based accessible app, and eventually make the app distributable as a docker container. Has anyone been successful in parsing the text file? Maybe into a .csv format or excel format? I'm about 80% of the way there, but there are some edge cases where some spells wind up in the descriptions of other spells. Spells like Abyssal Frenzy or Permanence with long bulleted or tabulated descriptions are throwing me for a loop!

Thanks! I'll keep an eye on here, but You can also reach me in the discord at hazardoustoast

EDIT: typo

Zook,

i fiddled around in excel and indexed all spells in your file
i also made it filterable by class (it's not the prettiest way, but it works as far as i can tell)

check your PM

Last EDIT: (probably)
So, i fixed the entries in the original document so all spells where parse-able to the excel sheet, and manually touched up the rest.

Currently every category you can filter the spell-list with is:

Name   School   Components   Casting Time   Range   Area   Targets
Effect   Duration   Saving Throw   Spell Resistance   Description   Focus   Special   Class/level

to filter class level use the drop-down filter in the CL column and use a text -filter
i kept the classes combined in their cell because it was absolutely soul-crushingly difficult to write code to separate and parse all data in their own class-column. almost considered doing it all manually but had to finish this while the hyper-focus was still fresh.

pm me for the file.

thank you for making that! i've never been one for using much beyond Microsoft Word/Office for stuff. even making my charts and tables primarily in that, not Excel.

added the Sorcerer/Wizard spell list pdf in a layout format similar to that in a bunch of the books, still filling in the brief spell blurbs. figured this was a good start for my fellow wizard mains

finished the Sor/Wiz spell list w the short blurbs
