Dividing a Character into to Two [D&D 3.5]
« on: November 14, 2019, 11:24:24 AM »
DM here. So one of my characters was fooling around in a alchemist lab without doing any research and failed a save and was divided into two separate bodies. I allowed him to divide his character levels up in any way he saw fit between the two bodies. Any interesting game mechanics I could employ to help him run the same characters out of two bodies? Or any other suggestions or tips that would make this more fun and interesting?

Thanks,
Necro

The easiest way to deal with it would be to change his race to Dvati.

I would keep the race the same, but use the dvati and/or fission power as the base for a custom template: [Alchemical Accident, Augmented human] (or whatever race is the character is).
