Sure I'd thought you'd seen it... could probbably use some editing work, still enjoy.  http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=11948.0
I'm playing one right now in The High arcana imperium game. . . the one thing I think I should have given them that I did not is "Knoledge: choose any" they're diverse enough that no two sorcs should be knowing the same things unilaterally.

Wild Mage is an odd one, but Sorcerer's can qualify decently easily and can make use of its abilities.  10/10 casting, too.

If wizards were nerfed the way half the production team clearly thought they would be (no expansion of spellbook, just 3+int starting+2/lvl), sorcerers come out on top. Too bad that's not the RAW. A non-paranoid (aka adventuring PC) wizard running 5+ battles a day is assumed too. Removing the int bonus spells seals the deal if you are still worried. Simple really.

I didn't gather "lets make the wizard suck it too" to be a desired end for anybody actually.
Secondly, you seem to make a couple assumptions about gameplay that likely varies from group to group, and its obvious that the "dev team" didn't really have assumptions at all, layering what you think they thought doesnt' clarify or help. Imho

Come on, people. I know you're out there.
well one more thing on MotAO...
i like to combine it with the draconic heritage substitution levels, since you have to select arcane preparation. and well, if you think about it, there is actually nothing stopping you from casting any spell as a cooperative spell. this makes the spell a full-round action to cast, and most people select invisible spell mostly for this reason. so the entry feats, while not exactly good, are not as worthless as often pictured.

for me MotAO is just too good to pass up. 4 levels is a must for me. and i personally find it hard to not get to level 7 because i love to cast spells like control weather, statue, etc., which you won't ever select as a known spell as a sorcerer. in terms of outside of combat fun there is just no reason not to go MotAO... the only reason for not entering this prestige class would be that there is a wizard in the party. in this case i'd probably build a mailman type.
