Racial bonus

Do racial bonuses from different sources stack? 

For example, both the Aberration Blood (flexible limbs) and Deepspawn feats grant a +2 racial bonus to grapple checks.  Do those stack?

Would either of those feats stack with a race that got a +X racial bonus to grapple checks?

RAW, no, but if I'm not mistaken those two were printed in the same book, and may actually be intended to stack.

Yes, they are in the same book.  I agree they were probably supposed to stack, but I think by RAW they don't.

Related question.  If some effect gave a "racial bonus" to an ability score, would that stack with racial ability mods?  Like a dwarf gets some effect that gives a +4 racial bonus to Con, would that stack or overlap with his normal +2?

A dwarf doesn't have a "racial bonus" on Con.  It has "+2 Constitution, -2 Charisma: Dwarves are stout and tough but tend to be gruff and reserved." as a racial trait.  You know what they say about unnamed bonuses and modifications.

"I doubt she's going to make a DC 111 Fort save, anyway."

Yeah, it sucks... according to RAW, there's that old (and tiresome :tongue) golden rule which states that bonus with the same types do not stack (exceptions to these are, for example, dodge bonuses)... unless the feat/ability/whatever explicity states that.

In this case, i also agree that they're supposed to stack, because the grapple bonuses are given by different mutations, but i could probably reason that they don't, because "Flexible limbs" are sort of like tentacles themselves, so if you have even more tentacles, it doesn't matter :tongue
