Focused Studies (Ex): At 1st level, the incantatrix gives up a school of magic so as to focus more on the remaining schools. She must choose a school of magic other than abjuration or divination as a prohibited school. This prohibited school is in addition to any others already chosen due to school specialization. Thus, a specialized wizard taking this prestige class has three prohibited schools instead of two.

Incantatrix was reprinted in another book.

I know its in PGtF as well.  I just thought it would still work the same.  It makes no sense at all that you suddenly lose the ability to cast spells you previously could...
Something inside me dies when I see the word fallacy applied to ideas held about roleplaying. And a small bit of vomit comes up when I see a character called a 'toon'.

My DM is likely to be a huge stickler about it.  Of the options so far, arcane disciple is likely the only one to work, but only if I can pass the charm, lust, or renewal domain as being acceptable for Lyris or Istus (the two deities that also have the luck and destiny domains).  After looking into it, Istus, despite having almost nothing written about her in 3e, has quite a bit written about her in prior editions, and seems like a poor fit.  Lyris has vagueness on her side, and because the renewal domain is screwy (what the hell are charm and PAO even doing on its list?), I might be able to pass it through.  Warriors need healing, after all.  Lust and charm are probably too much of a stretch, and renewal is also appealing for being able to add lesser and greater restoration to my spell list.  This way I can persist healing lorecall, and put lesser restoration under contingency to activate when I become dazed.
