Basic idea was "binder eats soulborn". Yes, the meldshaping here is better than the soulborn's, but there are
fighters better at meldshaping than the soulborn. It's still a bit of a power boost to binder, and I was thinking of restricting available soulmelds by vestige... though the lists would take time to write, and might complicate things too much.
Binder of the AzureA binder who selects this ACF does not gain the pact augmentation or bonus feats class features. In addition, from 3rd level onwards the maximum level of vestige he can bind is reduced by 1.
Vestige Meldshaping: At 2nd level, as part of the process of binding a vestige you may also shape a single soulmeld (see
Magic of Incarnum) from any list, with a meldshaper level equal to your class level. You may shape one additional soulmeld for every three class levels thereafter.
At 3rd level you gain an essentia pool, as shown in the table below.
At 5th level you gain the ability to bind a single soulmeld to your crown, feet or hands chakra.
At 10th level you can bind 2 soulmelds, and your arms, brow and shoulders chakras are also available.
At 16th level you can bind 3 soulmelds, and can bind to your throat and waist chakras.
At 20th level you can bind 4 soulmelds, and can bind to your heart chakra.
