Air supply for Portable Hole?
« on: March 01, 2012, 12:37:42 PM »
As a result of a previous question, I've ended up using an Enveloping Pit as a home away from home for my character, but I'm finding myself in a pickle. The only air supply type item for when I pull in the hole behind me that I can find is a Bottle of Air, which is pretty pricy at 7250 GP.

Is there something out their that is less expensive that would fulfill the same function?

Stronghold Builder's Guide has an enchantment that supplies with air... but I'm not sure about the cost.

Chamber of Comfort, 7500 GP. Though for +250 it also gets rid of smoke and such. Thanks for pointing this out. If I'm stuck with the Bottle of Air, I think I'll spend the little bit more to make it a rather nice room.

The DMG lists Necklace of Adaptation and Ioun Stone (Iridescent Spindle) as items that let you live w/o air.  But at 9000gp and 18,000gp, they're even more expensive than the Chamber of Comfort.
