New Noob
« on: May 01, 2012, 09:37:38 AM »
Hi, I'm Mario. I like a number of games--I'm a pretty curious person, and I like trying out new games, particularly indie games. (Riddle of Steel, Ars Magica, Burning Wheel, PrimeTime Adventures, Feng Shui, Dogs in the Vineyard all come to mind as indie games I particularly like for one reason or another. I did a lot of work on John Wick's game Houses of the Blooded, too.)

Outside of gaming, I do a lot on taking pictures of police in public--how it works and doesn't work legally. I talk to people about it, write about it, advise attorneys about it, and am working on some model policies. I am also interested in police policy generally. I know that all sounds like more of a job than a hobby, but the First Amendment doesn't pay (except in, well, porn) so it is really more of an interest. I also like to procrastinate, particularly when it comes to some horrible tests I have to take, which is right about now.

I live in Connecticut, in the United States.

My facebook profile is here.

You missed a HUGE opportunity here by not titling this thread "It's-a Me!"

:)  When it comes to Nintendo references, I have to let other people make them (so thank you). I have been getting them since Donkey Kong was a new game, and I can't make them sound fresh or original. I do have a number of Mario t-shirts, though. They're very handy when meeting new people.
