1 A fighter gets polymorphed into a hydra.
2 During a fight, someone uses sunder on the hydra, lopping off two of its six heads.
3 The spell ends and the fighter returns to human shape.

before

Isn't it implied somewhere that someone who polymorph also get healed in the process of reforging his new (next) body?
I'd say it simply get evened out and nothing happen.
