Is it just me?
« on: August 08, 2012, 05:11:46 PM »
Is it just me, or it just seems that these last few weeks the forums have been kind of slow lately? I mean, not seeing as much movement as they ordinarily does.

I've been keeping tabs on many threads at once for quite a few time now, and whereas once i struggled to keep track of them all at once, i'm now not even trying hard to do it. Just seems to me that movement is not what it used to be, honestly...

Yeah, things seem to have slowed down.  It isn't just you, and I'm not sure what to blame it on.

I think it's because of random coincidence.  Not sure if you guys have noticed, but these boards tend to have activity in waves.  So yeah, I think we're in one of the lulls right now.

It's summer.  The weather is cooling enough people can go outside without dying finally.  And they probably want laid.  :smirk

Definitely noticed this myself, I usually don't run out of threads to comment in each day but recently I have been stuck refreshing the unread posts/new replies buttons and getting nothing to comment on...

So, folks should stop posting for the lulz, and start posting for the lulls!   :drums

The slowdown is pretty noticable, yeah, even the War Frenzy latest totems and questions on rules tweaks didn't get any response, when prior to that we got reactions almost as soon as something got added.

Speaking of which, I guess I should get around to getting the next Madness done. The lack of response and a looming exam I haven't studied nearly enough for have sapped my motivation the past few weeks.

BTW I wanted to tell you guys that I'll definitely have at least a couple of War-Frenzy NPCs in some of my games.  I'll give you feedback on how the class works out.
