Fistbeard Beardfist

Ranger 2 / Monk 2 / Ranger 1 / Deepwarden 2 / Fist of the Forest 3 / Kensai 10

ACFs:
Passive Way Monk: Combat Expertise and Improved Trip as bonus feats
Strongarm Ranger: Power Attack as Combat Style bonus feat
Trap Expert: Trade Track for Trapfinding and Disable Device as a class skill.

Feats:
Great Fortitude
Combat Expertise (B)
Poison Healer
Improved Trip (B)
Power Attack (B)
Steadfast Determination
Track (B)
Weapon Focus: Unarmed Strike
Quick Recovery
Snap Kick
Hammer Fist

Notable Abilities:
Stonewarden: A Deepwarden may use his Constitution modifier in place of his Dexterity if his Constitution is higher. This bonus is lost in all situations that a Dexterity bonus would be lost under.
Fist of the Forest AC bonus: While unarmored, you gain a bonus to your Armor Class equal to your Constitution bonus (if any). See the monk class feature (PH 40).
Feral Trance: For the duration of the trance, you gain a +4 bonus to Dexterity and a +2 bonus on damage rolls with your unarmed strikes. You can also make one bite attack per round at your highest attack bonus whenever you attack as a full-round action.
The damage for this attack is 1d6 + your Str modifier, regardless of your size. A feral trance lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + your Con modifier. While in a trance, you cannot perform certain actions, and afterward you are fatigued. These restrictions are the same as those for the barbarian's rage class feature (PH 25-26).

Where's the drinking?  Do you go trouserfang dwarf style?  Is there some feat for drinking beer as a free action?

And, aren't there stronger options than Kensai 10?  Bear Warrior, MoMF, or something that jacks up your unarmed damage to massive degrees seems like it'd be a tougher option.

I believe Kensai is there mostly for the beard attack in addition to unarmed strikes.  See http://www.thetangledweb.net/forums/profiler/view_char.php?cid=35240

Drinking a lot is somewhat supported by Poison Healer since he's damn well going to make his saves against "mundane" booze.  I agree though, a way to drink as a free/swift action would be interesting, but unlikely given the lack of support.  Quick Draw the tankards as improvised weapons perhaps?

Ah yes, the masterwork tool of beer-drinking to end all masterwork tools of beer-drinking!  Good stuff ole boy.

It seems a shame to have a build of this sort that doesn't incorporate at least a few levels of Drunken Master...

It used to, until I realized that Drunken Master sucked horribly.

It has its uses.  Circular charging via Stagger can be fun, and improvised weapon can be used to great effect in certain builds.  (I like it for Bullseye-esque throwing builds that can maim you with anything they happen to pick up.)   I likely wouldn't go more than two levels in, though.

Battle Jump would help up the damage!
