Yep. Veil is ready to snipe.

Link to Sniper Class for reference.

Defenses/Senses
(click to show/hide)

Personality/History: Quiet and tight-lipped. Is training to become a "Magus Killer" for unknown reason. Has no affiliation per se, but hires her services out to affiliations for a period of time specified in a contract. Veil being an alias, her real name and past are unknown. She is currently contracted to Presidium Arcanum.

Role/etc:
Veil, a whisper gnome from the outskirts of the Imperium is the archer of the group. Despite practically no magical abilities to speak of, she boasts respectable lockdown and anti-mage capabilities at range, as well as possessing a penchant for stealth and so was scouted by the Praesidio Arcanum. Lifelong dedication not being her style, she works under a long-term (10-year) contract enforced by a geas of loyalty and another of secrecy (the former will be removed at the end of the term, but the latter is permanent), having just finished her second year. Unlike previous years where she didn't care about the Games, this year she has been anticipating the Games with an obsessive quality that goes beyond merely a desire to win. The secretive Veil has something personal at stake this time.

Birdy is a Stealth War-Hawk bred for infiltration missions where the rider would attack from another direction than the main team, creating a pincer attack. He has worked with Veil for nearly a year now and understands routine commands. A very talon-ted fellow.

Drax Smythe was once a human alchemist, but found himself reincarnated into a nimble halfling. His newfound dexterity is an unmastered gift, constantly causing him to fumble.

Alchemy has a special meaning to Drax. With enough forethought and a clever mixture, one can be prepared for literally any situation. It is a representation of a careful and insightful approach to magic. Although specializing in alchemy, he is a maker at heart and crafts all kinds of widgets.

Drax is a Journeyman of the Dreaming Apothecary.

EDIT: Gave the character a real name instead of just a nickname.

Quigo Ronpe
( link )

Quote
Shutting the door behind him, a man wearing perhaps oddly tasteful clothing walks across the room ignoring the new decor. Flopping down in his well used and worn out leather thinking chair he kicks his feet up over the nearby footstool. He reaches over and grabs a nearby glass bowl, with crystal celerity and psionic might he conjurers into creation a particular plant that cannot be readily found normally. Taking a pestle works it rhythmically crushing the stalks into a fine powder.
"How is your migration tracking going?" asks a well dressed man standing near the fireplace with an almost sharp edge to it. "Rather well actually" the seated man replies back. The older man appearing of a higher social status takes a seat beside the other, glancing at the alchemy equipment in his hands he can't help but in a softer tone add, "You got addicted didn't you?". Setting aside the bowl the first man grabs a small wooden box containing all the necessary ingredients to enjoy a good pipe. "It's manageable.", mixing some of the crushed powder into the tobacco he packs the pipe. The other man shows his patience and waits until the first long pull is exhaled before repeating his question. "You were right, the birds have convinced a few older men to feed them from time to time". "I see. What have you got in mind then?" the second man asks as he packs his own (pure) pipe. "I got a couple of pigeons flying around, but I don't know if the birds are starving or just a little too hungry for their own good yet". The elder man adds to this, "That's one of the reasons your scientific mind was brought in on this. The games are starting soon and I hoped to wrap this up last week. If not for the incompetence of the locals I would have too."
Moments pass as the too enjoy their smoke whilst staring at the unlit fireplace. Only sound between them is the exhale of vapors and the shuffling of their legs as they adjust their seated positions. A knock on the door breaks the peace and the first man stands up, walking over to the door and opening it he greets the guest. The messenger, a child, at the door hands an envelop over in exchange for a tip then scurries off to whence he came.
"Last week you said?" asks the younger man, "How about now?"
***
"Look, I'm just wanting a little general information here, that's all. Nothing to exact or would be traced back to you, just someone for my readers" says a squat little man with a full beard holding out a clenched fist facing downward. A man dressed in guard attire reaches out and puts his hand under the gnome's, "All right, a tip came in last night about a drug ring. Couple of magi or some such were cooking up some stuff to sell on the streets. We went there and dealt with them". "Hey, don't short change me or the next story I publish is about the presumptuous behavior of your local protectors if you catch my drift". "Hey, I'm just busting your knees." the guard quickly replies as he glances around to make sure no one is listening in. "Most of the magi were dead enders, kids in school or immigrants. One of them was a little higher rank, a teacher. He tried to fry us as we came in but it's like he took a little to much of his own product and was lost in some sort of delirium. Doctors barely got a look at him before the chief stepped in but word is it wasn't an OD." Watching the gnome's eyes as he says this he can see a tinkle of recognition. This mustn't be the first time he's heard something like this. The gnome lets go of the contents in his hand, "I must be off, stories won't write them selves. Good day to you sir." The little gnome swiftly walks down the path without looking over his shoulder once, if he had. He would have seen the guard's form shifting into that of a small child, a messenger readily ignored by most, one that creature had seen just the other night. "That's right, take me to the bird that showed the flock how to fly..."

The kid was good. Through his is contacts in the PA he got their attention and sure enough they sent him a guy. Just a guy, one. But damn his results greatly exceeded all expectations. Locking the door to his office he headed home, briefly stopping at the welcome desk to sign the last of the ordered silence forums for the raid his men did last night. He didn't know what happened, but some how a fully trained magi was arrested last night without any real opposition, something like this served as a good excuse to keep things low key. He barely made it home and opened a bottle of scotch when his wife let a very annoying but useful gnome into his house.
"So, you'll never know what I heard today". Not wanting to deal with him any longer than he had to, "How much?" he asked. "Depends what you need" the gnome shot back. "Gimmie a day and I'll find someone else to take the fall, maybe one of his students. After all, it's not like he used any high level spells.". The gnome smilies, "the usual fare will work if you toss in some of that scotch". The older man raises an eyebrow "About time to drink a man's drink", he turns away to pour a second cup but something bug him. A little voice in the back of his mind reminds him he has never seen the gnome drink before. Whipping around he reaches for his sword, damn he thinks, it's next to his chair. Not that it matters, as he looks into the man's eyes his desire to fight drifts away. Justice, that's what a man like him should be doing. No more cover ups, starting tomorrow he is going to hammer down on every operation he knows of, but first the wife and kids need to move out...
***
Whistling to him self the stranger boards onto a wagon headed to another district. This area is about to get a little cleaner and there is others to deal with...
