I am curious if their is synergy between chill touch and smite spell

The main problem I have is how smite spell states that "The next time you strike an opponent with that weapon, the spell discharges." Could you argue that Chill touch discharges multiple times with its wording "You can use this melee touch attack up to one time per level."
