Dispel Magic vs. Control Weather.
« on: November 02, 2012, 01:12:05 AM »
Just checking, because it caught me by surprise that it would be this simple.

Control Weather has an area 2 miles in radius.  Dispel magic allows you to target an active spell and attempt to dispel it.
So, you are now standing in a blizzard (caused by control weather), and you can just "target the storm," cast the dispel magic, make your caster level check, and bam! it's gone?

Sounds right, to me!
What do I win?
An awesome-five for mentioning Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness.

I'd rule a "yes" to that as well.
