Crusader Refresh Mechanic program?
« on: March 23, 2013, 09:01:33 PM »
Is there a program (or even better, a phone app) that will automate the Crusader refresh mechanic?

I know of a Java program already, but it doesn't seem to work too well.

I don't know of any programs, but it's generally much easier just to print out the maneuver cards or design some of your own. Even scraps of paper work.

Would be pretty easy to write one, though I only know IDL.  Use the Maneuver Cards.

For face to face games, use maneuver/index cards.  For online, I just use decrementing die rolls, with the maneuvers ordered in a pre-arranged list (skipping over ones already "in play").  A d5, then d4, d3... once it reaches "d1" I know the next time it will reset.

If you have any amount of programming (like, even an entry level class) you could rig one up real quick. A few hours of google sleuthing for the necessary grammar in your chosen language could get you there, even.
I'd do something, but I just ran a system restore a couple of nights ago and am too lazy to go get software right now.

Forgive me, it's 5 A.M. and I'll probably realize that whatever I just typed make little to no sense when I think about it in the morning.
