Character concept: A girl my wizard bought in a slave auction (as part of a plot to help another npc and get his support later). As it turned out, she had been trained from early childhood to be an assassin of some sort, though whoever was doing it died before he finished.
She is very quiet, but extremely observant and turns out to be creepily smart for her age when she does speak - she is already a good actress. I tried to give her to my bard ally to train into a spy and he discovered that while she can learn magic, singing is definitely not her thing.
Now, I am trying to plan out how to train her further in the campaign. The goal is to have an agent who can gather information and get things done through cunning, without ever having to use violence, with some spells to help her out of tight spots, but very little magic otherwise (little to no magic items and no spell components on her person). Someone who bypasses the BBEG's anti-scrying defences by working as a servant in his manor and having good ears.
I assigned her for bard training before knowing her stats, but apparently she has very high wisdom and intelligence, giving her both very good senses and obscene amount of skill points. (if she were a wizard, she would be better than me, which is why she isn't)
From her description: Flaw: Fool ( she isn't funny, but her attempts to inspire are )
replaced with a feat: Alertness ( she has maxed out listen and spot, enough to gather information Arya Stark style)
Now for the actual build. This is how I imagine she will end up looking:
Human, Bard 7 (lore replaced with poison use), Spymaster 3
Perform: Oratory
Feats:
Able learner, Quick Reconnoiter, Eschew Materials, Disguise Spell, Skill Focus: Bluff
Tricks:
Assume Quirk, Listen to This, Second Impression, Social Recovery, Swift Concentration.

0 read magic, ghost sound, detect magic, mage hand, mending, prestidigitation.
1 charm person, disguise self, remove scent, sticky fingers.
2 invisibility, reveille, detect thoughts, circle dance
3 glibness, listening coin.
