This is for an upcoming D20modern game. We're going to be running a shadow chasers style game.
Charlotte to everyone else but Charlie to her close friends. Her parents divorced when she was twelve years old. She went with her mother to England while her father stayed in the US. She soon became extremely self-reliant since her mom was hardly ever around due to work. She quickly exceled in school and after graduating she joined the armed forces becoming a paratrooper. She then joined the SAS, however while she enjoyed the work and getting to see the world she was dissatisfied with the income she earned. She soon left the service to offer to her own skills as a free lancer.
Her first job as a free lance involved taking down a terrorist, she provided sniper cover, while the rest of the team went in. However she soon heard screams and random gunfire. When she made it inside the main room was covered with blood and shell casings. Some of the bodies looked to be torn in half and others had been tossed into wall living large holes. After checking to make sure the whole house was empty, she quickly gathered up the cam units she could find as to bring them back to her employer ;a Mr. Smith. As she was bent over on the last helmet she was knocked out. she came to a few hours later and quickly made her way to the helicopter and radio in what happened. Mr. Smith told her to report back to the staging area for debrief. Upon arrival they watched the cameras. On screen was what looked to be a "man-bat" that stood over 7 feet tall and had dark red skin. It simply tore thru the team and ignored the 100s of bullets being shot at it. Mr. Smith nodded as he gathered up the recordings putting them in his briefcase and pulling out a small thick envelope filled with money. As he handed it her she had asked him what the hell that thing was and what was going on. His reply was that it was a demon and that the world she knew was now over and that he would be in touch with the possibility of more employment. Before she could respond he left the warehouse.
Her specialties are providing sniper cover and piloting helicopters. For her sniper work she users either a barret "light fifty" or RAD M91 depending on the job. Her back weapons is a Colt M1911A1
