I'm kinda glad the game's running slow. My workload this semester is about double what I was expecting, so I'm having to quit a couple games. I'm sticking to this one, but don't be surprised if my posting is sporadic.

For what? I love kids. Well, I love my kids (though I haven't met the second in person yet).

I understand they're not for everyone, but you haven't experienced nerd joy until your 3-year-old points and says, "That's a nice Star Wars shirt. I like that." He can't read yet, but he recognizes the font.

My family brings me joy. The rest is just life.

Oh I was apologizing if I ever made you feel rushed game wise, I know that kids can take up almost all, if not every single second of your free time. My brother is a father and I've seen it consume his life, leaving little for anything else. I think it's great your family makes you that happy though, that's a special thing. I could never have kids though. I'm too selfish, irresponsible, and have very, very little patience.

I don't feel rushed here. In fact, this is a better medium for me because I can send responses when I have a few minutes rather than planning a few hours for a gaming session. I do play in a couple gaming groups, but we're mostly parents and therefore often adjust on the fly when someone can't make it to a session.

They have been. Maybe winter's slowing everyone down. I was waiting for Builder's grapple check but if he doesn't post by today I'll roll it myself and the battle will continue. I know he had to drop out of other games and he's been super busy so whenever he can pop back in will be okay. In the mean time a lot of crazy stuff is close so we'll move on to get to it.

You know....there is something about rolling dice online with a click of a button...it's just not the same. There is something about rolling a real dice and role playing your character in person that online boards will never be able to capture.

Oh well, just some high thoughts.
