Build:
Strongheart Talenta Halfling Paladin 5/Beastmaster 1/Whirling Frenzy Lion Totem Barbarian 1/Halfling Outrider 2

Feats (no flaws, but 1 "flavor" feat): Mounted Combat (1), Skill Focus (Handle Animal) (F), Mounted Archery (H), Ride-by Attack (3), Devoted Tracker (6), Spirited Charge (9)

Other possible feats: Shared Fury, Talenta Warrior, Boomerang Daze

Mount is going to be a fleshraker.

Horselord barbarian gives a special mount. (Dr310?) so, if you want, you could replace the paladin levels w that?

I think you could shave 2 levels off by going Cleric 1/PrC Pally 2 instead of Paladin 5.  You'd need to make sure your first few levels are full BAB so that you can get in to PrC pally as soon as possible, but it would give you 2 more levels of Animal Companion progression, probably. 
I know Paizo has the Mad Dog Barbarian archetype; is there something similar you can do in 3.5, maybe via ACF chaining?

It would help with feat problems with Fighter 2... and if I can retrain (unsure), then I can get into Beastmaster a level early.  I'll ask.
