"Mass" hugs.  I see what you did there, what with it being Easter and all.
I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

Thanks everyone for your support; I ended up being one of the readers at the funeral mass, and it was the hardest reading I've ever had to give. And I have been reading in public since I was in 1st grade.

And can you please share, Kuroimaken? The tales of your exploits are sure to warm my heart, and the hearts of all others who see them.

Sure.

So anyway, I was on my way back from the therapist when I see this lady walking nearly a dozen dogs (half of which would surely be able to make her their bitch. I mean it, they were pretty big). They were yapping at everything and everyone, and I DO mean everything and everyone. To top it off, one of the dogs (a large German Shepard) was growling pretty nastily at one of the passersby. Until it eventually leaped forward, yanking the chain off the lady's hand and going for the pounce.

I reached for the scruff of his neck and yanked it back in mid-air. That shepard must've weighted nearly 40 kilograms, because it was fairly hard to keep it aloft one-handed, but I guess the adrenaline rush must've helped. He kept on growling at me, until he looked me in the eye.

"DOWN, boy."

The dog whimpered as I walked back to the lady, who was still troubled trying to get the others under control. They started growling at me, so I showed my teeth in a malicious grin and said, "That goes for you little pissants too. Calm the fuck down."

Granted, after the lion at the zoo incident this isn't exactly much.

No one seems all that interested in my exploits anymore.  :shakefist

Sure, I tell them mostly for fun, not for adoration or anything like that, but it still kinda bums me out. I've actually got a new one to tell today, but I just feel a little blue about telling them.
I, at least, find them interesting. I just don't like to comment on things if I do not feel I have something to add.

Two or three weeks ago, it was 85 degrees (about 30 C). Today, it's snowing.

At least it won't accumulate.

I WISH it was snowing here. The weather has been crazy inconsistent lately.

It's April. What do you guys expect?
On Saturday, it went from nary a cloud in the sky to snowing in the space of barely 30 minutes here, then back to sunny.

We got a few really warm days (read: almost 10 C) in late March. On April 1st it snowed almost 20 cm an the temperature is now -1 to 2 degrees with occasional rain. I really dislike spring.
I'm what's staring back from the abyss.
How come you guys never wave?

Please send me a PM if you give me kudos. I'm interested in what I'm doing right.

So I finally got me an Xbox360... and it turns out it's unhackable at this point, at least by any methods known to the local technicians.  :shakefist

As if to add insult to injury, when I got home I realized that the console I'd brought from the technician wasn't mine - it was someone else's fully hacked console.

I'll admit I was tempted not to trade it back in, but my honesty, such as it is, won out in the end.

Worst Friday the 13th ever.

If it's any comfort... it's an online game.

The complete and utter stupidity of some building managers is starting to cause me physical pain every time I read anything they wrote (which is quite often).

So today I forgot my keys at home. When I noticed, I was going to call my mom to tell her to open the door for me when I got home. My cellphone's battery chose that exact moment to die on me. As in, I literally watched it going out in my hands.
Then when I got to uni, I was going to post this, but noticed I had forgotten my netbook at home. :<

Oh God, so much sympathy.  I hate it when events just line up like that.
“Hast thou not felt in forest gloom, as gloaming falls on dark-some dells, when comes a whisper, hum and hiss; savage growling sounds a-near, dazzling flashes around thee flicker, whirring waxes and fills thine ears: has thou not felt then grisly horrors that grip thee and hold thee?”
