So today I forgot my keys at home. When I noticed, I was going to call my mom to tell her to open the door for me when I got home. my cellphone's battery chose that exact moment to die on my. As in, I literally watched it going out in my hands.
Then when I got to uni, I was going to post this, but noticed I had forgotten my netbook at home. :<

Oh God, so much sympathy.  I hate it when events just line up like that.
Plus one. It's always when we're in a hurry, isn't it?

Explain, my feline friend.

I wasn't so much in a hurry as just really sleepy after getting up. I also forgot about my black tea while I was getting ready and left the bag to soak way too long, turning it from a stimulant into a relaxant.

Explain, my feline friend.

I have spent long hours and many days negotiating a truce between 2 large alliances big enough to devour mine in an online game.  I finally get them to stop fighting.

Then one of my members suddenly wakes up and says "AH'M BUSTIN' OUT!" and promptly attacks two of his neighbors, one of whom is allied to a giant alliance considered friends by one of the other alliances I just convinced to cool off.  Said alliance then spends the last day completely devouring his other target who happens to be between the two of them.  Then a second guy does the same.

On a side note I got promoted to leader unexpectedly.  wtf?

Sounds like a fun game. Which one is it?

Backyard Monsters.

It's an ok game it has some issues.  It's current incarnation turns off newer players, and promotes sociopathy, and it has lots of glitches.

God dammit!  How many fucking times do I have to accidentally reload a page that I've been working on for more than an hour before I learn to do stuff in TextEdit and copy/paste in?

In other words ... it's just like real life, eh ?

If it were like real life I'd have factories raising an army of monsters to smite the house of whoever pissed me off.
