It's an epic level campaign, yet the PCs will steal the locks off of doors to sell them for parts. Seriously.
I'm working out a Bag Guy Team and I want the gnome (For some reason, the players hate gnomes. I mean, they voted to ban them as a player race. Go Fig.) to shoot a crossbow that shoots Magic weapons and they blow up as they hit. Maybe extra damage for every +1 Bonus they have or something. It's basically because:
1. A crossbow that shoots exploding swords is awesome.
2. I want the party to cringe when I tell them a 72,000 gp sword that missed just exploded against the wall behind them.
Addendum: I figure I'll keep the WBL down by making it anything that gets loaded into the Quick-loading extra-dimensional space cannot be removed and thus becomes "ammo". and is 1/50th the cost. Only a wish can get a weapon out.
