The spirit tag should now have been edited as you suggested.

Hey can you like, rewrite all the short descriptions to actually say anything at all about the manuever so that they are not literally a complete waste of space and time?

Like for example, instead of "Cash Into the Night: Strike– Money is both a solution and a source of problems." You could write something that tells me fucking anything at all. Because right now I assume it is an effect that allows you to spend money to cast any spell in the game. And I could totally scroll down and read the long form text, but here's the thing, I should have more than zero idea what the effect is before reading.

This problems can be generalized, for example did you know the short form list of fireball says how much damage it does? Because tip of death tells me I do some damage at some range with something that is either an AoE or not. REALLLY DESCRIPTIVE!

While your concerns are valid, there's no need to be so rude and condescending.

Yes.   Oslecamo is quite generous in spending time building awesome things.

Why don't you go through and quote then edit the post so that it would be useful in the way you desire, then post so others could reference?

Best,
David

Because I think the Riverside View School is garbage that isn't worth my time. But unfortunately, I had to read all of the actual maneuvers in order rather then skimming the summary and then reading the relevant ones, because there is no summary, just a summary like illusion that when read conveys literally no information and wastes even more of my time.

Also, because if I did, doing so would actually be of no use as a reference, since it would be on page 6, and not on page one, and no one would ever read it until they had read all the maneuvers.

Except that if you wrote a summary that was worth the time, it'd be promoted to the front page.

As for the rest of that post: "I'm lazy" is not a good argument.

So, since you have the time to complain about that, I don't suppose you could give us a summary on why do you dislike this school?

Also updated summary since it indeed wasn't very descriptive. And more pics.

Ignoring the rude person...

New character, a Smoke Para-Genasi Hermit who uses True Administrator and Riverside View in tandem.

Level 1 boost "Lonely Bound Spirit" says it has a save, but does not indicate what kind of save or the effect of succeeding.

All spirit creating maneuvers have a DC since it determines the DC of the explosions.

Y'know that's what I assumed when I first read it, but now that I check there are a few missing the DC if that is indeed the case:
-A Human Spirit Passing By
-Spirit Sign "Abundant Floating Spirits"
-Scythe of Wandering Spirits

What kind of memorial/burial services can a Riverside View adept provide? My party arrived at an island, but we were warded off due to the fact that the island is suffering from a plague. Our healer managed to get clearance to the island, and I managed to finagle my way in as well, due to the fact that I could help with last rites, burials, and the like. Theoretically.

So, how would I go about doing this?

Well Riverside View is more supposed to deal more with soul/spirit after death.

Added some extras to the two first feats. Fallen and Ruined shinigami allows you to prevent the deceased from coming back as an undead as long as you take some loot payment from them, and Guide of the Riverside View now allows you to pull the soul from the corpse and ferry them safely to the afterlife earning some extra money in the proccess if you've got the time.

Odd question, but does Riverside View count as arcane magic? I'd think it'd count as divine, but the only schools you have pointed out as divine are Dream Battle and Lunatic Princess. Unless I missed it somewhere of course.

I think only vancian spells can count as either divine or arcane, and other magic is just "neutral".  But I guess Riverside View would indeed count as divine if this classification can extend to maneuvers.

I think Shadlith is asking about the Interaction between TobHou and spellcasting that is found in the Introduction (read this first!) portion.
The following explanation has been removed due to time constraints, character limits on posts, and the DC 30 Spellcraft checks to understand large portions of it.

I am, though Osclecamo's reply brings up the question of if he forgot he put that there originally.

In that case, I would like to remind you that that's totally there. :P I bring it up because (assuming that The Purple Mage Heretic both gets finished and is a buff-and-melee class) I was hoping to make a Youkai Magician who uses Love Colored Magic and Riverside View (original plan was Dream Battle) along with Youkai Magician's normal casting to qualify.

Derp me, added Riverside View to the list of schools that count as divine.

And yes, I gotta finish Byakuren's school. Maybe I'll take care of that before Sakuya's forbidden school.
