I'll start.  I'm probably one of the few people on the Internet who finds many parts of Joe Dirt funny.

On a more political note, I enjoy watching Alex Jones' radio show even though I disagree with almost everything he says.  There's something about his madness I just enjoy eating up.

The gratuitous fanservice of Mahou Sensei Negima! has not deterred me from the series, either.

I think it was unfair of me to put it alongside the likes of Alex Jones and Joe Dirt, though.  Negima! does make a fine shonen fighting manga; Akamatsu's attempts to insert nudity all over the place, on the other hand, can get a little overdone.  I don't object to nudity in manga, just depends on how and when it's done.

You can't hate on Akamatsu for being Akamatsu. That's just what he does, and he does it far better than a lot, at least.

Someone on TVTropes said that most of what Negima does isn't fanservice so much as Naked People Are Funny.

Now Highschool DxD, on the other hand, is straight fanservice. No one believes me when I say I watch it for the plot.

I actually enjoy Roswell Conspiracies and (the first season of) Huntik.

Both of which one of my friends could not go beyond an episode of.

In general, I love bad animated kids shows, particular Italian stuff.

I'm wondering if her calmness in UQ Holder (also, seriously, Yukihime? From the ice mage? Snow Princess?) is the result of the extra 50-100 years or life, something that happened after Negima, raising a kid, or if this is what she acted like before getting sealed in a school for fifteen years.

Probably resignation after finally having friends, and losing them to time. Before that she was old, but never really grew up, no friends but her puppets.
