Hi there.

Hi everybody.

I am fairly new to tabletop RPGs, as I got introduced to D&D 3.5 approximately two years ago, but I have been playing with the same group ever since. We play once a week (marathon session of 10+ hours) and more frequently in holidays (we are all studying at the moment). It didn't take me many sessions before I got into optimization, as I despite playing builds that are subpar. I really love making up builds that squeeze the most power out of different concepts, and I am always eager to learn more about the system, builds and improve my general knowledge of D&D. I am without any doubt the one who enjoys optimization the most in my group, and I don't believe that roleplaying has anything to do with building your character. I believe that roleplaying is how you play the character, and if your Swift hunter has undeads, elemental, constructs and plants as favored enemies, even though the character has been living in the woods it's entire life, then there is nothing wrong with that.

I am an active member of the WotC previous edition Character optimization board, and I wanted to sign up here aswell.

I haven't played any other systems yet, but I expect to try out other D&D versions at some point.
