Help me optimize a Pathfinder Wizard please

I was just asked to joing a pathfinder group where we have a

Hand to Hand Giant
Magus
Ranger
Ninja
occassional Druid

I was thinking I would make a Wizard. 

After some reading using Treant's Guide and another wizard guide I came up with a Human Cojuration Specialization Wizard with the following feats:

Spell Focus: Conjuration
Augmented Summoning
Superior Summons
Improved Initiative
Craft Wonderous Items

I am starting at level 5 with 10500g and the ability to cut the cost of any item i would be able to make with my craft skill in half.  I am not sure on the spells to take, nor what is the best way to spend money on items.  I would greatly appreciate any help with my feats, race, spells, items to make myself a better wizard.  I am not even stuck on being a wizard, if looking at the group above you guys think there is a better class suited to fit the group, please make the suggestion here and give me the build options and things like that for that class.  Again thank you for checking out the post and any help you can give.

there is also the 25pt buy

Str - 8
Dex - 16
Con - 14
Int - 18
Wis - 7
Cha - 9

That is without the human bonus to Int.

Penalties to save stats make me cringe, I'd drop Dex to 15 and put Wis at 10, and craft a +1 Dex belt, only 500 GP for you. I'd also grab the Teleportation variant, as a way to escape grapples etc. What are your opposition schools?

For items, I would suggest a lesser metamagic rod of extend spell (3000gp), a cloak of resistance +1 (1000gp /2), an amulet of natural armor +1 (1000gp), a headband of vast intellect +2 (4000gp /2), handy haversack (2000gp /2), perl of power 1st (1000gp /2), bookplate of recall (1000gp /2), and a Belt, plague rat (5200gp /2)

Also, there a lot of minor items with a lot of fun possibilities. Just check them out !
